Pregnancy and Pelvic Bodywork
Hands-on care for pregnancy, birth preparation, pelvic pain + postpartum (or all stages of womanhood)
Whether you're uncomfortable in pregnancy, preparing for birth, thinking about baby positioning, recovering postpartum or looking for support with pelvic pain or tension — this is where my bodywork fits in.
I offer Pregnancy Bodywork and Internal Pelvic Release Work, alongside my experience as a midwife.
Not sure where to start? Pregnancy Bodywork is a great first appointment.
Pregnancy Bodywork
For pregnancy discomfort, birth preparation & postpartum
Pelvic pain. Aching hips. A sore back. Feeling tight, heavy or just really uncomfortable. These things might be common in pregnancy, but that doesn't mean the answer should be “you're pregnant, that’s just part of it”.
Pain and discomfort give us useful information. There's often so much we can do to support your body through pregnancy.
Come and see me for:
Pregnancy aches + pains
Pelvic, hip + back discomfort
Baby positioning
Birth preparation
Postpartum bodywork
Pelvic tension + discomfort beyond pregnancy
Coming in for birth preparation?
Pregnancy Bodywork is a great place to start. If you're interested in Internal Pelvic Release Work as part of your birth preparation, this can be booked from 32 weeks.
Internal Pelvic
Release Work
Pelvic care for pain, birth preparation, connection & life before or beyond babies
Your pelvis is about so much more than your pelvic floor.
Women come to me for IPRW for all sorts of reasons — pelvic pain or tension, preparing for birth, returning to their body postpartum, or simply wanting to better understand + connect with their pelvic space.
IPRW may be part of your care for:
Pelvic pain + tension, including for women living with endometriosis
Birth preparation
Pelvic connection + awareness
Postpartum care
Pelvic care beyond pregnancy
Your initial appointment gives us plenty of time to talk about what's brought you in, followed by external bodywork + gentle internal pelvic care.
Unlike a clinical vaginal examination, we aren't assessing your cervix or diagnosing a pelvic health condition. This is hands-on pelvic bodywork, with the time + space to explore what you're feeling in your body.

No. My work is bodywork rather than diagnosis or rehabilitation of pelvic health conditions.
Pelvic health physiotherapists have a different scope + approach, and there are times when their assessment or treatment may be more appropriate.
If something comes up that's outside my scope or would benefit from further assessment, I'll refer you on.
